Amin Alarrayed is a prominent leader in the real estate industry with over 20 years of experience in banking, real estate investment and real estate development. Mr. Alarrayed joined Edamah as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in July 2018, to strengthen the investment environment in the real estate sector in charge of the implementing Edamah’s strategic objectives, maximising operational performance and the management a diversified portfolio of real estate assets on a local level; striving to contribute to the transformation the Kingdom’s diverse and dynamic property sector.
Prior to joining Edamah, Mr. Alarrayed led First Bahrain Real Estate Development Company as CEO, having joined in 2007. During his time at First Bahrain he contributed to the development of several successful real estate projects that have achieved significant returns and income; including the “El Mercado” project in Janabiya, which includes a commercial compound and residential villas, and the “Majaal” project which comprises industrial facilities for SMEs in Hidd.
His successful career includes diverse experience across several industries, having held several leadership roles including Head of Retail and Placement as a founding member of Reef Real Estate Finance, and Regional Head of Retail Banking at Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK). In addition to working at the Central Bank of Bahrain, Mr. Alarrayed gained experience on an international level at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC.
Alarrayed holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, Chicago, USA, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Redlands, California, USA.
