Bab Al Bahrain Complex

Manama – Bahrain Real Estate Investment Co. (Edamah) that owns the BD. 5000000 project of Bab Al Bahrain Souq for renovation, located in the heart of Manama, is preparing for the accomplishment of the first phase, as 90% of the work is completed.
This residential project reflects the great effort towards business development and stands as attraction to tourism. “The first phase of its project contains a shopping center consists of 7 shops in the ground floor and 17 shops in the first floor, besides there are to coffee shops with sun protection shade both commercial and traditional for the tourists, as well as 10 stalls in the ground floor”, said the chief operating officer Saeed AlMarzooq.
“In addition to the Bab-Al-Bahrain shop openings, negotiation is going out with the old shop owners and for the new tenants Tender will be published for the shops available in the near future; required the shop registration will only be for cultural or antique goods”, he added.
Mr. Marzooq also specified that the project will also cater services such as commercial bank, money exchanges and postal service as well as will locate Telecommunication services. The complex will have mass security available for the protection and guidance of visitors, further the maintenance and cleaning will be given high importance over all.
Besides the project, there will be availability to accommodate 400 car parks for the visitors, and this service will be completed by October 2009, to ease the traffic and parking problems during Eid Al Fittur.
The project will be brought to success with the help of Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Municipality and also with support from leading business idols.  Their vision helps Bab Al Bahrain to stand as a landmark for Bahrain and to the Visitors.  
The project with its unique face of Bahrain’s Culture will attract tourists and boost the economic and commercial sectors of Bahrain and improve the versatility and trade as an investment.
