Edamah Recognized with Five Top Honours at 2025–2026 Arabian Property Awards in Dubai

Edamah, the real estate arm of Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat, has reaffirmed its industry leadership by securing five premier accolades at the prestigious 2025–2026 Arabian Property Awards in Dubai. 

Edamah’s landmark developments – Bilaj Al Jazayer, Tivoli Residences, Tivoli Hotel, Bahrain Surf Park - Club Hawaii Experience, and Reef Mall – each achieved the coveted ‘Five Star’ award, the highest national distinction in their respective categories. In addition, all five projects were selected as Regional Nominees, positioning them to compete for the ‘Best in Arabia’ title. Crowning this success, the esteemed Real Estate Leadership Award was presented to Edamah’s CEO, Mr. Khaled A.Rahman Al Majed, recognizing his strategic stewardship in steering the company’s development and growth. He accepted the honor as a testament to the collective vision and commitment of the entire Edamah team. 

The honors were presented at the IPAX Arabia Awards ceremony on September 11th at the Habtoor Grand Resort Hotel in Dubai.  CEO Khaled Abdulrahman Al Majed, accompanied by senior Edamah executives, accepted the awards on behalf of the company.

Among the celebrated projects, Edamah’s Bilaj Al Jazayer was recognized in the Mixed-Use Development category. This transformative masterplan for Bahrain’s southwest coast seamlessly integrates residential, commercial, hospitality, and leisure components across a 3-km beachfront. The project reinforces Edamah’s long-term strategy to enhance the Kingdom’s tourism infrastructure and offer inclusive, sustainable destinations.

Tivoli Residences, awarded in the Apartment/Condominium Development category, redefines sophisticated coastal living, blending elegant design with comprehensive, resort-style amenities.

Meanwhile, Tivoli Hotel was distinguished in the New Hotel Construction & Design category, highlighting Edamah’s growing influence in the Kingdom’s hospitality sector through world-class design and strategic alliances.

Bahrain Surf Park - Club Hawaii Experience was a standout winner in the Leisure Development category. This first-of-its-kind attraction in the Kingdom, which is a joint venture with GFH Financial Group, features the region’s first Wavegarden Cove, and is poised to become a premier local and regional destination and hub for water sport enthusiasts. 

Reef Mall secured the award for Commercial Renovation/ Redevelopment. Its redevelopment has transformed the property into a reimagined community-centric destination, revitalizing the retail experiences through modern infrastructure and enhanced amenities.

Rounding out the wins, and in recognition of the strategic leadership behind these achievements, CEO Khaled A.Rahman Al Majed was presented with the prestigious Real Estate Leadership Award.

The Arabian Property Awards, part of the International Property Awards, are judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts and celebrate excellence in design, innovation, and sustainable development across the region. This year’s ceremony brought together leading developers and real estate professionals from across the region, providing a platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, further cementing Edamah’s reputation as a key player on the regional real estate stage.
