Edamah Signs New Tenants to Create a One-Stop Destination in Muharraq

Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah) B.S.C. ©, the local real estate arm of the Kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund, has recently signed leases with several tenants, namely Food World, CrossFit Muharraq, Bunzz Food Truck, Kushari Boulevard, Qahwa & Karak and Karam Al Bahrain, who will be opening outlets at Sa’ada Waterfront. The Sa’ada project, endorsed by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, is a vibrant lifestyle development project providing a community space that combines Family Entertainment Center (FEC), retail and tourism sectors. The second phase of Sa’ada Waterfront will offer the ultimate convenience for visitors, providing ease of access through a multi-story car park building boasting 202 parking spaces, as well as a marina consisting of 37 berths for boats of various sizes.

Food World Group is a dynamic and fast growing family business based in Bahrain that owns and operates a chain of Supermarkets, Department Stores, and Cafes. Its operations are spread across Bahrain and Indian Sub-continent.

The strength and conditioning facility, CrossFit Muharraq, is expected to open mid- December 2019 with the fit-outs are already well underway. CrossFit Muharraq is focused on delivering high intensity classes with constantly varied movements as part of the overall CrossFit program that can be scaled to every level of fitness and athletic ability delivered by well-trained coaches. Located in a spacious 503 square meters facility with waterfront views, CrossFit Muharraq is located in one of seven buildings which will be primarily dedicated to wellness and fitness, as part of the first phase of the Sa’ada project which consists of a public promenade and plaza overlooking the sea, complete with indoor and outdoor seating areas.

As for the F&B outlets, this marks the first time Bunzz Food Truck launches in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with Kushari Boulevard expanding to their second branch, and Qahwa & Karak expanding to their third, all three establishments are expected to open in Q1 2020. Karam Al Bahrain will open its first branch in the second half of 2020 covering an area of ​​570 square meters which has been carefully selected due to its unique location on a distinct waterfront. The restaurant will introduce a new concept, offering Mediterranean and traditional Syrian cuisine using the latest technology in the hospitality field and only the best ingredients available in the local market.

Sa’ada Waterfront is expected to launch next month, where the first tenant of the Project, Naseef Café, will open its doors to the new branch having come a long way from the opening its first café in Fareej Al Fadhel in 1920. Crossfit Muharraq will also be inaugurated during the launch.
